Admissions
Children can commence at Caterpillars when they are 2 years and 6 months or over. Before your child starts at Caterpillars, a pre-start visit with you is necessary to help your child to feel familiar with the environment and to meet the teachers. If you would like to apply for admission for your child to a Caterpillars Montessori Nursery School, please complete the registration form at the back of this prospectus. We also require a £50 deposit which is deducted from the first terms fees.
This deposit is non-refundable should your child not commence at Caterpillars.
We will try to accommodate your child for the preferred sessions, but this unfortunately cannot be guaranteed.
We ask you that your child attend a minimum of 3 sessions per week.

Discipline
Following the Montessori method, we aim to foster self-discipline within the child. We address matters of unacceptable behaviour quietly and firmly, giving the child positive examples of how to behave. We endeavour to change the focus of the child’s attention by guiding them to apparatus which is both stimulating and fun.
