A Typical Day at Caterpillars
Although we do like to be able to be spontaneous at Caterpillars we do follow a general structure to the school day. Of course this is flexible and does depend on events and circumstances.
| 9:30 | Circle time and the register. |
| 9:50 | Quiet time, the Montessori work cycle. |
| 11:20 | Snack time. |
| 11:45 | Play time. Outside play weather permitting. |
| 12:15 | Group Activity and story time. |
| 12:30 | Home time for morning children. |
| 12:35 | Afternoon children arrive. |
| 12:40 | Lunch time. |
| 1:30 | Circle time. |
| 1:40 | Quiet time, the Montessori work cycle. |
| 2:45 | Play time. |
| 3:10 | Group activity and story time. |
NB: We have music sessions and yoga sessions each week.
